At Home With Adelaide

So it's been a bit crazy around here lately. Having a new baby is hard enough, but having to fit in going over to the hospital Just to see her gets a bit hectic. And of course I never remember the camera. Some of that is second child syndrome anyway. Hazel is doing great. She's done everything she needs to do to come home and was just transferred for the third time to the least restrictive area of the New Born Units. It goes from Intensive care, to Intermediate (she was transferred on her 3rd day), to transitional. She's just a bit too little still to come home. The want her to reach 4lbs and currently she's at 3lbs 9oz. Hopefully by mid to end of next week. Addie for the most part feels we can just leave her where she's at!!

Kim, I'm so happy to read that Hazel is doing great and is getting closer to going home! Your comment about Addie's feelings reminds me of your first meeting with James at your parents' home and your comment about not needing "that baby" around!! Love and hugs to you!!
